meeting friends back after 2 years

September 6, 2009 at 2:55 pm (SurfGold,

now i’m back in my home town, feeling dizzy and sleepy, (well, actually my mom came back from US so thus a bit of headache too) – but within 3 weeks i was staying 4 different countries in surfgold.

well it’s been a long time, except china i visited them only after 2 years… couple of updates from my friends/brothers:

* uncle derek  is still on his own busi. still it is under profitable situation, but seems his public recognition is getting better and better. despite the fact that he is now father of iTwins (hh), seems he’s still following what he wants to do.

* Ivy Stanley Paul seems they are close as always. i met them at last day of HK visit, and seemed they are usual to meet – and Stanley is still not planning to be married xixi

* naresh is now married more than 6 month, but this guy didn’t ever changed. i asked him “better show some maturity” and he said “that’s why my mustach is very long now” – u see what i mean. still he was naresh as he used to be – crazy funny, taking care of others, and shouting with sales teams (haha). i met his wife, veena, and she is very, very bright person. i briefly heard that before she met naresh, she was feeling depression in a depth, but for me it is almost impossible to imagine that this much bright person can be depressed. naresh said she changed a lot after they met – heh, nice boy ;)

* prabuddha was making me shocked when i asked an etiquette only question “when u’ll gonna married”, by answering “within next 5 month” (!!!!)  55, what happened to you?! this guy seems more and more holier – now don’t smoke, don’t drink (well, even before), strict vegi – seems he is preparing his “no-joyful life” after the marriage. hh. other then that, he’s also not to much changed from what i remember.

* uncle joe invited me to have dinner yesterday – and i found his new home, now he bought one flat in the condo. (wow!) now this guy, i can say, is a really singaporean. still he speaks korean, but life is more like sgp ppl. especially when it comes to family life – and i think family life is most part of his life now. with uncle jason, those 2 guys were keep talking about raising baby and what to do, etc. (sigh) i’m not sure i can be of those good daddy.

this is raw octopus

September 23, 2008 at 12:21 am (SurfGold,

hheh,
suddenly i remembered that many friends and i talked about “scary foods” of our homeland.
these ppl includes many surfgolders and some of accorers.
ranking number 1 is pretty tough competetion between <chinese monkey brain> vs <korean dog meat>…. but, we’ve never seen a restaurant which really sells monkey brain…so i think that is just a rumor to make ppl disgusted. meanwhile dog soup is so widely spread in kr _ _);;;
and even though it is disgusting…..that is one of my favorite food :-p;
anyway meanwhile talking these horrible funny story, i’ve also found that there is one thing that i didn’t know it is so much horrible to others …. a raw octopus.
no matter whether they are chinese, taiwanese, HK ppl, indian or french,  talking about this small piece of octopus seems very successful to let them shake.
so i decided put this picture here. again one of my favorite food …. raw octopus… :)
my friends, come to korea and i’ll treat you this.
i want raw!

i want raw!

China, china…

June 16, 2008 at 2:42 pm (SurfGold,

nowadays i stay in Shanghai, China, every half a month in a month, thanks to the project.

now when i go to china, the network always annoy me – because it blocks wordpress.com! and it is not just wordress, but most, i’d say, most of other sites are slow - whether it is from KR or other country. i cannot watch the baseball on-air steam broadcast via internet – i can only see the text broadcast. it is used around 7~8 years before :(

January 31, 2008 at 2:45 pm (SurfGold, works) ()

September 4, 2007 at 12:58 am (SurfGold, works) ()

10월엔 다 털어놓고 놀러가야되는데 이거 걱정이 태산이로다;;;

Offsite in Jungle lodge :p

September 2, 2007 at 6:39 am (Living in India, SurfGold, Travel) (, , )

at 22/Jul, SurfGold Bangalore office went offsite team building activity.

i didn’t know that, but this was held first time in the BLR office and thus everybody was so excited.

Naresh told that we’ll go there and sleep there one night, because of this Sandhya aunty was going home earlier than others.. P but others (especially married uncles) were enjoying really much. (imagine that you don’t have to give any excuse to your wife for your drinking. i can name a few of this case – Sat**h, Sent**l, Sud**p ) :p

 program schedule was like:

  • paint ball (something similiar to survival game)
  • go Jungle lodge and do some team competition
  • campfire in the evening
  • go to safari in next morning
