India won the T20 Cricket World Cup!

September 25, 2007 at 5:19 pm (Living in India, sports?) ()

Indian bowlers pull rabbit out of hat | ICC World Twenty20 Cricket News – Yahoo!

This was unexpected.
Major players were not in, and India was poorly performing till recently.

Rain swiped their first match. they just got 2nd match after draw. They were beaten by NZ in 1st match of super 8.

Ranking #1 Austrailia was doing some fluctuation but still Aussies are number one, and south africa was believed to be the one who will win the tournament…

But South africa was kicked out because of India.
Austrailia yielded a victory to India at semi final.
the archrival Pakistan was making the finale – with just 6 runs difference.

Now they are the champion of first T20 Cricket tornament. Gratz to Indian team!

Trip to jog fall

September 10, 2007 at 11:03 pm (Living in India, Travel) (, )

7/Sep, Friday, we went to see the Jog fall in Karnataka.

Members are: Naresh (head of team, aka car driver), Dhananjay (the only one who knows how to go there), Narayan, KR uncle, me, and Naga (he joined at the party right before the departure). took around 48 hours to go there and see things – this is particulary tiresome for me since i have back pain, but it WAS really worthy. This place is the best place in Karnataka that i have visited till yet.

비인기 종목에 대한 관심도 급상승중

September 4, 2007 at 10:41 pm (Living in India,

Read the rest of this entry »

Offsite in Jungle lodge :p

September 2, 2007 at 6:39 am (Living in India, SurfGold, Travel) (, , )

at 22/Jul, SurfGold Bangalore office went offsite team building activity.

i didn’t know that, but this was held first time in the BLR office and thus everybody was so excited.

Naresh told that we’ll go there and sleep there one night, because of this Sandhya aunty was going home earlier than others.. P but others (especially married uncles) were enjoying really much. (imagine that you don’t have to give any excuse to your wife for your drinking. i can name a few of this case – Sat**h, Sent**l, Sud**p ) :p

 program schedule was like:

  • paint ball (something similiar to survival game)
  • go Jungle lodge and do some team competition
  • campfire in the evening
  • go to safari in next morning
