malfunction junction

at 22/Jul, SurfGold Bangalore office went offsite team building activity.

i didn’t know that, but this was held first time in the BLR office and thus everybody was so excited.

Naresh told that we’ll go there and sleep there one night, because of this Sandhya aunty was going home earlier than others.. but others (especially married uncles) were enjoying really much. (imagine that you don’t have to give any excuse to your wife for your drinking. i can name a few of this case – Sat**h, Sent**l, Sud**p ) :p

 program schedule was like:

• paint ball (something similiar to survival game)
• go Jungle lodge and do some team competition
• campfire in the evening
• go to safari in next morning

we divided into 4 teams and entered the paint ball battle field.

Justin uncle is the only one who finished military service and i’m the other one who finished military boot camp…. but our team was in 2nd place after the team “crazy” – i think Nikesh’s LOUD shout was actually giving some advantage to the team.

(frak, when you keep hear the shouting of “you’re out!!!” on every shot he shoots, of course the referree will think he really shot the adversay .. )

during last battle i shot down 4 guys, but nobody was declaring they’re out.

 after moving to Jungle lodge… we encountered a deer which is a bit too civilized. the staffs in the jungle lodge was saying that we should not feed the deer…. but you know it is a human nature that the prohibition tempts..

 
(………how sweet! almost everybody was violating the regulation)

 well, the team competition game was not exactly my taste, but i’m sure it is pretty good for the team building activities.

during the evening, we sat around the camp fire and played antakshari - ‘continue the song’ game. even i participated and sang a Korean song and a English song.

 in the morning, the familiar deer was coming… in search of a food feeder again :p

i tried to pull the antler (which is an expensive medicine material in Korea)……….

……………and was attacked by it.

(oh what the !)

 i didn’t join the morning hiking since i already had back pain at that time (which turned out to be a slipped disc in the spine…. bah), but guys told it was nice.

then after breakfast, went to safari. during the safari we have seen..

 a lion practicing a yoga…

and tiger is eating grass…
 

bear is scared by human…

hey safari-ans, don’t you think you need more wild life than that!

this offsite was closed with good feedbacks. members in the office get closer, having fun, refreshing…. i think team BLR need to plan this activity regulary. whole pictures can be found in my picasaweb
